Interesting. Smell based detecting. If a rat can find it, a device could be made that “sniffed” the air for the same molecules the rat is detecting. A Nobel prize awaiting somebody.

If you've ever had your luggage "swabbed" in airport security they are doing the same thing. It would be amusing if TSA used rats instead.

Impressive little fella !  Magawa probably translates to Life Saver .

I wonder if they trained any of those rats to sniff gold ?
