GrievousAngel
What profile is typically better for wading or diving in freshwater? I am assuming no presence of black sand or other strong mineralization in soil or the water. I venture to say, the same settings that works on surrounding land! However I haven’t spent enough detector time to form a strong opinion. What have other Equinox users found to work well? Billy
TedinVT
I prefer Park 1 multi in fresh water.
Jeff McClendon
The manual suggests Park 1 Multi as a good starting place.
Dan(NM)
Park 1 works great in fresh water.
Chase Goldman
As others have suggested Park 1 Multi is a great starting point and general purpose mode. Should you want to focus in on gold jewelry, Park 2 should be a good alternative.
Valens Legacy
In Illinois I have been using Park 1 when I get into the creeks and streams, however when I am in Missouri I have to go to Park 2 for some reason. I think that there is more iron and lead in those areas that does something to the settings that make it better to go to a different setting. Most of the time I do use Park 1 though and have been very pleased with the outcomes.
Rick N. MI
I liked Park 2 and Gold 1 in my sandy lakes.
