Unfortunately I can't get a good zoom on the processor so I can only see it's an ARM processor.

Looks like it has an ARM CPU, I wonder which one (no matter how much I squint my eyes, I cannot quite make out the chip data).  That's impressive if their running a Cortex ARM CPU, hopefully 64bit 🙂

Anyone know what CPU the Equinox is running?

I might be wrong but if I squint with both hands on my head and spin around in a circle at high speed I think I can see this.

The location of production can vary, this one above is Philippines, while below is Taiwan.

If it's that, it's not going to set the world on fire, but still that's more than enough compute power for a metal detector.  Could always leverage a DSP if needed if not already.

Yup, French/Italian and headquartered in Switzerland.  It makes sense in today's world to use a local or at least European manufacturer for a detector made in Turkey.  It might be a good thing in a world of chip shortages too to have production close by to help with supply with the shipping challenges.

I'm sure the competitor from France will also be using ST chips.  They've a product facility in France so you can't get more local than that for them.

Nice red circuit board! Can I get a clear housing!! Or in the words of Henry Ford; you can order any color you want, as long as it's black!😂👍👍

Bluetooth 5.0 CSR8675 APTX Audio Module FSC-BT806  - 👍

Yes, it's a Bluetooth 5.0 apt-X LL chipset so people should have no troubles using their existing Bluetooth low latency gear from other detectors.  It has a latency of about 40ms, it's interesting they didn't go with Bluetooth 5.2 with the LC3 codec where the latency is as low as 5ms.   Perhaps to do with keeping the costs of production down or just easier to secure supply of an older model chip but the price difference in these sort of chips is negligible.   For example the ST processor I pointed out above I can buy for $12 (USD) from a local electronics supplier, on places like Aliexpress they're about $5, I can only imagine the price a place buying thousands of them would get them for.
