Were you thinking of using the lower 'handle' , then, for weight-balance reasons ?
I use the 'pinpoint' button a fair bit, so not having the control-box immediately above the handle would be annoying for me.

It's not awkward at all. The "S" part is close enough to the Nox handle that I dont even see it when swinging the detector, and the coil control is greatly enhanced IMHO.

 The straight is great with the 15" coil, but the "S" is the bomb with the 11", 10x5", and 6" coils! 😎
