Anyone Using Deus 2 Aftermarket Charging Clamp For Coil?

I would think the Detecting Doodads Coil Charging Clip would work… any reason why not?

I have not tried it myself, but I have read a number of comments that were very positive.

Yes Steve ive had one of those Doodads clips for a few years now. Work good and much easier to put on then the factory Deus clips. 

Im wondering why Xp hasn't looked into a magnetic charger like other companies have. Seems like would be easy to do with the already existing metal charge points on the coils.

Have and still use the Doodads clip on my Deus. Still awaiting my Deus 2.

It's been working like this for about 6 months now, anyway I'm going to collect the guts of this 11" and use it to build a sniper coil.

d2 owners still moaning about the charging clip not fully charging the coil on fb

I tried once taping the xp clip handles to jaws of small pliers which made it easier to squeeze the clip on. The xp clip would be ok if there was more leverage.

I’m new to XP products and have only charged my coil twice so far. In the manual it says the light stays on constantly while charging.  When I put the charging clip on my coil the light goes solid but does a real quick blink every 4 or 5 seconds.  Is that what xp means by the light staying on constantly?   My coil charges up like this I’m just wondering if it’s normal to have that quick blink.
