It definitely is harder to maneuver in tighter areas and takes away from the GPX 6000's excellent ergonomics some. For EMI mitigation however, it is the only alternative at the moment and does surprisingly well with that.

Minelab or somebody....please at least make an 11" or smaller DD coil for the GPX6000.

The 14 is certainly sensitive!  I picked up very small birdshot and tiny lead fragments with it at considerable depth.

I think this discussion shows that having and keeping more than one detector can contribute to a more well rounded metal detecting experience.
