Hard Prospector like you said that’s a not just good deal but a great one.

Jim Straight email me and was saying the same thing about that detector. He was using one himself in the desert and having good luck with it. I never meet Jim face to face but we’d send each other reading material.

I did get one and like he said it was a great detector at a great price. But stupid here like so many times before I sold it and like you will be I was kicking my butt for doing it.

Sold off my GB Pro and F19 some years back.  The only time I've ever kicked myself for  selling a detector.  Just picked up a used  F19 recently  here and glad to have one again. Just love the simplicity of operation, ergonomics, lite weight, the way it will break down and fit into the smallest of packs and only uses a uses single 9v battery.  Very effective gold nugget and jewelry  finder.  Yes there are better gold VLF's out there currently but this one still has a lot going for it. ......... Especially for $300 bucks.

Ray Mills of TrinityAU used a GB Pro for quite awhile and spoke highly of the detector. Chris Ralph gave it a very positive review as a gold finder and for being a good value.

Personally, it is one of my favorite detectors to use in certain situations such as tight spots in general;   bedrock nooks and crannies and shallow water environments, (submersible coil), where you don't want to risk damaging a more expensive detector. It's lightweight, very sensitive to small gold, and easy to use. I agree with RR; a  great detector at a great price.

nor can I, it's a killer machine on coins too, very accurate target ID's.

I'd buy it even thought I've already got two if I lived in the USA, the price is fantastic and it's got the awesome 10x5" coil.
