I think my shotgun pellets and small gold posts have put off most if not all overseas prospectors from coming to pillage our NZ gold supplies... 🙂

Those boots and hand bags probably keep many people from beach hunting there. I don't mind carrying a lunch, but don't really like the idea of being a lunch.

I really ain't to worried about them, because I have seen all the Crocodile Dundee movies and now know how to handle them.

I found that if they are around just cut the persons leg next to you and throw them into the water. Then you have a few hours of fun detecting by yourself.

I don't recommend this technique to be used by everyone.
