Working On The Chain Gang

Recommended Posts

I've hunted the lakes in northern MI for 3 years and only found one 14k gold chain and pendent. I saw you found 4 gold chains. It's surprising people don't loose a lot of chains.

There are some fine chains in there too. The Nox is doing it job.

Which coil did you use to find the chains?

Good job!

Hi Rick

All salt water finds. I mainly use the stock 11", maybe 30% of the time also run the 15" Minelab.

Great title and cool finds. They say the Equinox has trouble with chains, you're living proof it doesn't. 👍 Cool!

I have heard/read exactly the opposite for the Eqiunox 800 when the first beach reports were coming in after it was first being sold.

I get a kick out of it too, that's awesome man! I'm envious, I've never found a chain.

Put them all on at once and you'd give Mr T a run for his money.

Great job on the chains, and thanks for posting them.

Good luck on your next outing.

Not going to speak for midlake but if I were hunting for chains I would be in the #2 modes with all metal/horse shoe on and dig anything a solid 1 or better 🙂
