Testing My Scoop Insert Finally

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the update as I have been thinking about how it worked out.

I would like to print me one of those on my printer also.

Nice catch on the small stuff.

Good luck on your next hunt.

Great save on the ring and awesome return. Right time and place. Also nice work on the scoop insert.

Now that's "sweating the small stuff"!

Nice job Kac. 👍 I generally won't move on until I retrieve a small target, that insert saves time.

You have an FDM? Let me know if you need an stl or cad file.

I think the only thing I would change on this is the lip could be straight across or even reverse the curve. It's thin enough that it doesn't seem to make any difference. Attached below is the one you see there that fits RTG basket scoops with 61mm inside radius.

It's a great feeling when you think of something, make it, and go out and use it successfully. Got it right the first time. 👍

Hasn't happened an awful lot to me. 🤔 Really cool invention.

I'm sure there can be tweeks but I am happy with the 4mm triangle holes. Those really are working well.

Customizing a tool to work better in your application 👍

The bottom of my T Rex has smaller holes like that built in !

I've seen some scoops with huge holes too .

Variety = everybody happy....well , most everybody anyway...
