I don't know why Scotts post keeps coming up as a quote..But anyway.

No the student has not become the master!!!!___

Yesterday I couldn't even find I target..

EMI was driving me crazy...

I couldn't figure out hour to set the machine to an acceptable level...

Going out right now to see if it is doing better in a new location..

Gold on the way!!!!!!

Most times when we hit the quote button then go onto something else, the gremlins hold the memory of it and we have trouble trying to delete or get rid of it.

I went through a bad stage of double quoting and leaving a huge blank space underneath a post due to have the cursor too far down when I press Submit Reply.

But I think Steve must clean em up when he sees them.

Anyway, hope you are having a great time here Paul and are enjoying every day of your holiday, EMI regardless.

How long have you got left before heading home btw...

Well I got back to Reno this morning and after a good nap i got up to sort  stuff out from the adventure.

Looks like I ended up with 45 pieces all up..... Right at 9 gms ---and then JP threw in one he found out last day out which put me over the top of 10 gms...!!!!

Not a whole lot of weight, but many small targets....

I am convinced that i have come away from this adventure a better, more consistent 7000 detectorist---

Being able to find gold any day i went out helps too---- More time on target rich area builds lots of confidence!

Having JP on speed dial, was a great help too!

If something didn't seem right, I could always give him a text or a call and he would respond back quickly....

The GPA's of Clermont are all holding gold--- I think it is a fun place to hunt because you can sleep in town in a nice bungalow with a soft bed and a shower, and still be on many different gold patches after stopping for a cup of coffee and a meat pie before you leave town.

All the areas i visited except one were within 5-8 minutes of town.... that even meant i could come home in the heat of the day, take a little siesta and return for a beautiful cooler evening hunt.... hard to beat---

I may not have the bigger gold like Gold hound and Norvic get on, but for a nice easy hunt it pretty cool. I think the places the Gold-hounds hunt would have killed me this trip--- it took 5 days to get over my soreness as it was

One thing i did not have was a sore shoulder after all that swinging--- i finally listened to JP--- (i wouldn't Chris P- lol)--- and used a hip-stick and a guide arm---- no trouble at all with shoulder---

Here are some random pictures and videos... I tried to put them in some kind of an order..
