A great way to track down lost class rings is skip the school. Look for the class reunion website. Almost every class has one, and a main goal of the keepers is to keep track of current address of class members. They also usually know who is deceased, etc. I was able to return a 1963 U.S. Air Force Academy class ring via the class reunion website.

 My daughter and my money went to A&M and I’ve always wanted to return class rings. I have over the years done so but I wouldn’t send it to A&M because it truly will be lost. 
 Steve gave you the best advice to help you in your endeavor.
