Gooseberries & Gold. Went out scouting for some Gooseberries and Elderberries to make jelly. The gravels looked really good in the area for detecting, so I broke out the detector for a few hours and got a few small nuggets.

Yum!  Really miss those berries  from my past summers in WA.  Nice nuggets too!

Looks good Scott! Think Im going to try making some jam this year. I also saw a ton of elderberries in my area ripening right now.

I hear that they are a great immune stimulant...nice work on the nuggies..klunker kicked my rear today... six to three and all of his were twice as big lol...

Nice looking nuggets, but the real question is are you actually making jelly or are you making wine.

Either way it is tasty, but with the wine you don't have to fumble around looking for a slice of bread to put it on.

Goose berries & Gold is a fine title.  Those berries (when ripe) had that wonderful bitter/sweet taste.  The gold is just a bonus.  A really nice bonus at that.
