Lidar Mapping Class

I came across this class. It might be of interest to some of you. Seems to be expensive at a $100 bucks for the class. But just think if it gets you a couple of nuggets.

It's pretty cheap for a live instructor for two hours if they are any good.

If you don't feel you need a live instructor you can learn this stuff fairly easily and for free. Just download QGIS and follow the extensive documentation and instructions. Here's their simple tutorial on using LIDAR data to create a 3D map.

That guy is making $250 an hour online for his class. I wonder if he is any good at it and if he has references from some of his classes.

It could be a good thing if I could learn what I would need to learn from something like that.
