You've got the wrong company, two different Fishers, but yes I would say the Impulse AQ and I guess with it the Impulse Gold are dead on arrival.  The simple fact is they worked on the AQ first before the Gold where the buyers would have been, they struggled to even sell 100 AQ's and then most of them were faulty or riddled with problems, but this is probably quite normal, they were beta detectors for testing an unfinished product, people paid to test them on Fishers behalf which is just nuts.  A failed experiment I guess you could say.

I can see how the two businesses get mixed up all the time though, strange to have two companies based in the same country with very similar names.
