Oh man, I have maybe one or two more chances to get out and detect before everything is frozen, time is running out. 

This has been my first year detecting and I have not found a silver coin yet.

I think just a couple shown are collected. This is my 2000 to present digs. My most beautiful dug coin from sandy soil I will take a photo of. My 1980 to 2000 digs either paid for my Wifes Nursing Degree or were traded for detectors or given to family and friends. It was pretty impressive, so I have been told.

Both of my old digging buddies found one. Still have hope-based on the sites I hunt.
