Valens Legacy
Nice find and some what rare to find them. Glad you saved it and can maybe clean it up and framed, just a thought. Good luck on your next outing.
Northeast
Definitely meant to be 1789 - 1797 But it does look like a 2. Maybe damaged a bit? If it really is a 2 then it’s a misprint and maybe more valuable?

F350Platinum
Good job! It's stuff like that keeps you going. I've only found one dollar coin in the last couple years, they were meant more for collectors than use. 😀 Glad to see you're finding silver as well, you are on a good spot. Keep it up!
Troy E
This is the same park I found the large cent, bust capped dime, 6 wheaties and the stuff above. Just when I thought it’s hunted out, I found the Merc, wheatie and that 2 ringer. I’m looking forward to hunting these areas again with the Manticore. I’ve spent most of my time at this park, walking different ways, swinging slower, different coils, frequencies, different weather, different machines, lower and higher recovery speed, trying to maximize depth.
NCtoad
I’ve found a few of those presidential one dollar coins, but I don’t think any of them are George Washington ones. Congrats on a fun find!
Badger-NH
Are you positive that's a Minie Ball? It's hard to tell from the photo but it looks too small to be a Minie. Take another photo next to a coin. It's always nice to dig a Merc. 👍
