Aureous
My Brother still has a PMC 18" mono made for the TDI. Don't think he uses it anymore. Has the same higher inductance as the Coiltek. PM me if you are curious.

Coiltek made a few coils specifically for the Goldscan 5 and the TDI. The Inductance was slightly higher, I think C. 350-380uH. PMC made a run of a few dozen as well. 1
Hamid
It made many coils for tdi series.
GeoBill
I have this 6" mono made by coiltek specifically for the TDI. I bought it from an acquaintance who used it with his TDI Pro with good success. After getting the Sadie he decided he didn't need it any more. Tends to overload my TDI SL unless I increase delay and turn threshold way down. Very sensitive. Joe D.
Little off subject, but what TDI coil(s) do you all like for the beach!??🙄👍
Steve Herschbach
More to the point coil compatibility with Minelab PI coils was a major goal in the TDI design phase. Almost all coils made for GPX 5000 and earlier models will work on the TDI. Some may overload at the shortest delay setting however, requiring a longer setting there. I experienced that with one coil GP coil on the TDI myself. The coils made by Coiltek specifically for the TDI would not have that issue as a possibility. 1
