GB_Amateur Posted February 1, 2023 Share Posted February 1, 2023 I found the following from the article rather interesting: Discovered before the start of the pandemic, the pendant was unveiled at the launch of the annual reports of Treasure Act for 2020 and the Portable Antiquities Scheme for 2021. A total of 45,581 archaeological finds were recorded in that period, of which 1,085 are classed as treasure – 96% were found by detectorists, most on cultivated land. BTW, the thread title alarmed me -- at first I thought he must have played too much rugby.
