Popular Post Steve Andrews
This week we are having some of the biggest tides of the year here in Jersey, Channel Islands, so I've been hitting the beach. All found with a modified Diving program, with sensitivity up to 96, reactivity zeroed, plus some other changes. It's the one for deep high conductors on the beach. Using the 13", I've been seriously impressed with the depth I've been getting. 11
schoolofhardNox
Awesome hunts. The low tides can be productive when you can get some wave action that changes the shore just enough to get some deeper finds. Great buckle and cannon ball. Is it war of 1812 British? Doc Bach
Very nice historically significant and super early relics and artifacts there Steve.I am not a beach detectorist but if I lived where i had access to sites with finds like those I would quickly start paying my dues and become one.I am very envious. CPT_GhostLight
I'm out of likes, but those are some awesome finds, Steve, and that silver buckle is gorgeous! Well done!
Steve Andrews
I found this WW2 French 50mm mortar bomb fuze a couple of days ago. Captured by German forces and used by them here in Jersey, the mortar pictured in the book is the exact one that it came from. I target brass relics like this and use a 5 tone mod of Diving with the pitch of the last break set to max, so that they really stand out amongst all the large lead Victorian bullets. 3

Cheddar
i max my pitch on my highest break for every program, it really pierces your ears and catches your attention. i think its weird that on full tones a 99 isnt even close to the 993hz
