Polish Copper Coin Hoard

Not all copper coins are pennies.  One version of this story said the coins were rusted.  I don't think so but maybe it is a matter of translation.  Another version of the story I read said that the detectorist had just bought a new detector.  I wonder which one.  It probably wouldn't make much difference considering the size of the hoard.
