and i detected the mud from the bottom of the ditch, I found alot of 50,s ACL soda bottles and toys. and modern cladd, but no silver came up from the depths

Good job on the hunting the ditches, I do that along the side of the state roads because you never know what someone will lose out the window.

We live in the country and only have about 30-40 cars go down the road in about an hour so it is safe to detect. I find more stuff that the farmers loose than the cars do but it's all good.

Gravle roads have been intresting spots for me , for its amazing how many nails are laying in the roads, and how much change, and for me copper nuggets
