aerospace guy
Most roads in Goler Gulch are like this or worse, which makes dodging the gullies challenging.
Popular Post aerospace guy
A Gpx 6000 user spent 3 days prospecting this cut on the Taft claim near Red Chiapas coming away with 16 nuggets. I came along after with my Garrett Axiom and found a nice nugget he missed!

Gerry in Idaho
Love seeing those cuts. Now you can say you went behind a GPX-6000 and found gold he missed and you didn't spend $2000 more either.
aerospace guy
Gerry..I deliberately did NOT take my EQ800 with me on this trip so as to force myself to only rely on the Axiom and not fall back on the EQ that I know so well. I think that was a mistake! I will have to look online for some videos on the Axiom as I think I was running the sensitivity way too high and after digging I would uncover "hot rocks". Do any Axiom owners have experience with hot rocks and the Axiom? Some areas were somewhat free of hot rocks and some areas I would have used the EQ..had I brought it with me. Dumb idea to not take it also! Due to medical issues this was my 1st time out with the Axiom. Pic is EQ find. 1
dirtman
Nice Beeping turning up that nugget ๐ Steve has many short videos on operation of the Axiom you can easily find here. He's like the "Johnathan Porter" of tutors on the Axiom I watched quite a few of them and he seems to do a good job of it.
