I Keep Getting Knocked Off The Forum!

Have you paid your dues?  I had the same trouble when I forgot to pay mine.

 I did say something to Steve about that long ago and I got a no answer.

 But like I said I deleted the forum off my phone and then done a search for it so to access it again. For 3 hours now I have yet to get knocked off . I even powered my phone off while doing all this and I’d done that before with no luck.

I have never had any issues.

That being said this is like taking your car to a mechanic and the symptoms never happen when the mechanic is checking out the car and he tells you he can't find anything wrong with it!!  LOL

It's likely a cookie problem Chuck, you don't have some funky app installed to "clean" your phone, do you? something that could be clearing your cookies? If the cookies are gone your "remember my login" info is gone too.

Also, all browsers have a way to block cookies, and even block them just on a single site, so perhaps by mistake you've blocked cookies on DP thereby not storing your login information for auto login.  

Check out your privacy settings and ensure you're allowing cookies on DP.

Alternatively, just install another browser from the app store such as Firefox or Chome if you're running Safari and see if it resolves it as it's privacy settings will be default not blocking cookies, that will confirm it and get you back to normal, you may find you prefer it.  I believe you can teach an old dog new tricks, I have.

I found that if it happens to me I simply use my own internet system rather than my neighbors wifi.

I went to the cell phone store about two weeks ago to maybe get a new phone. The first thing the guy said hurt my feelings and my phones too when he said he’d never seen a phone that old . Then to top it off he told me my phone was worth nothing.

 I want you to know I took my pride and my phone out the door then went down the street to get a new battery put in it.

 That’s the only thing that has done to my phone was a new battery.

 I thought my trouble was gone but it’s not. I need to check to see if I have the same problem with it .

My personal phone is brand new, I have never used it because always I use my company phone and have been for years, I took my personal phone in a few weeks ago because I had to turn it on to get the "code" they texted me when I was trying to pay my cell phone bill online (a new thing they're doing to protect me) my phone wouldn't send the code back to authenticate it was me, kept getting an error, the guy looked at my brand new phone and said he had never seen one like that, I told him it was brand new and only a few years old, he checked and told me it was 8 years old and not able to be updated any longer so that why it couldn't do the code thing, nor can I use it to make phone calls, I asked what I could get in trade in for a new phone and he just laughed, so like you Chuck I picked my new phone and walked out the door and mailed in my payment!!  LOL

I guess at some point I will get another "new phone"! LOL

My troubles are over due to my CSI daughter came home this weekend and fixed my problem. That’s all I really care about that it’s fixed.

It might help others to know what the fix was Chuck. That’s kind of the whole point of the forum.
