Steve Herschbach
This is crazy! A virgin beach loaded with silver, first with CTX and then with DEUS. Enjoy!
matt
I have never metal detected for coins, but every time I see a video of people detecting for coins it seems like they never get good overlapping coil swings. Are target responses from coins that broad that you don't want to overlap for complete coverage?
Steve Herschbach
Yeah, if hunting hard for deep coins a person should be going slow and overlapping swings. What you have here I think is two people hunting a fabulous site. This leads to each trying to cover as much ground as fast as possible trying to get the coins before the other guy does. Been there done that on group nugget hunts in Alaska. They will no doubt hunt the area more carefully later on.
flakmagnet
Steve I hope you are right because this is the worst detecting technique I have ever seen in a video. Can you imagine what a good operator would be doing on that beach? Heartbreaking.
mn90403
The 3030 drives me crazy on the standard setting. I HAVE to use SMOOTH or LONG or I would sell it. Mitchel
