Hard to follow an act like Hubee57, He is one of the funniest blokes to watch with a metal detector, sorry to see none of his vids lately,

One question folks, 'How Happy is Happy' ? Some time ago after a couple of weeks detecting finding junk  I found one gold nugget about two grams, on a mullock heap in Dunolly, was I happy ? you bet ! a couple more days later I found another one about the same size on a heap at Tarnagulla, now even happier !

 

Then I went back to Melbourne to my permanent job,while not far from where I was camping in Dunolly was a fellow living with his wife and children in an old bus, unemployed due to health problems,His name was Kevin,

Two weeks after I found my first nugget Kevin found one too,here it is ,.

Kevin called it the Hand of Faith, now I know why, 

This was on a door I walked past in a little lane in Rome, it looked nice,

Below is the Premier of Victoria Dick Hamer (dec) and Kevins Gem dealer agent Cyril Kovacs (dec),Cyril was a lovely bloke I met not long after this photo,

Kevin and I found our gold in 1980, It made us both happy, and the gold below made this father and son happy as they found it at the peak of the Depression, many years ago, Its called the Golden Eagle and you can see why,

My gold finds are few, about a dozen, but I'm a lucky man ! why ?

Survived 1 car accident,

                 3 diving accidents while diving for abalone professionally,

                 5 motor cycle accidents

                  2 industrial accidents

                  1 hangliding accident

Two healthy children and two healthy grandchildren,

Been here for 74 years and 'she who must be obeyed' still loves me,

Lucky ?  Yep, I'm lucky all right !
