Gold Monster Delay

I just called Minelab customer service for the Americas and they confirmed there is a delay.  They said the detectors are made in Malaysia and  they did confirm they have been shipped from there.  No estimated arrival for west coast dealers was offered.

I know the feeling Chuck.  I'm crossing my fingers it comes in before the Sawtooth trip. ?

I'm just wondering if anyone of the dealers in the US has or got any GM 1000.

The kid in me has put out his money and now I want my candy. In this case it's a new toy to play with.

A dealer told me presales have sold out all of the first shipments that they expect to get by the end of May.  That was their 'take' on the availability.  They didn't know how long the wait will be for a new order unless you find a dealer with an allocation that was not presold.

There is obviously disappointment over the detectors being late. The consolation for people with money down is being first in line. Those waiting until one is sitting on a shelf waiting to get bought might be waiting all summer.
