I am in line for one of these. The fact it is a PI pinpointer is enough for me to give it a go. Why the Fisher instead of Teknetics? I actually prefer the green as nice on the eyes, but red is just far easier to find if accidently dropped in the woods. Not something I normally do but cheap insurance! Not sure when it will get here (sometime in next couple weeks?) but when it does I will report back.

Steve, please keep us posted when you get yours.  Be nice to do air test between the Garrett and the Fisher.

It being a PI pinpointer I would not think air tests will be great. The way to test this thing will be in bad ground (which I have). It it can punch just a bit deeper than my Garrett Carrot than they have a winner. Though being a PI pinpointer another concern will be machine interference.

I am not sure when they are shipping - next week or two?

Air hots are pretty good (nickel @ 3+" @ med sens) and should be the same in ground. It has a frequency offset adjust (16 levels) so you can minimize interference.

Wow that sounds awesome, my Garrett Pro Pointer gets 1 7/8" on a US nickel.  Thanks Carl.

Still waiting for my new pinpointer so I am guessing that late November/early December ship thing did not happen.

I ordered mine dec18 but can only guess as to when it will be shipped. I hope it at least comes by the time my EQ800 arrives
