Does the Multi Kruzer run 5kHz, 14kHz and 19kHz all simultaneously? Or just selectable single frequencies? Thanks.

The Multi Kruzer lets you select between 5 kHz, 14 kHz, and 19 khz similar to the Nokta Impact ability to select between 5 kHz, 14 kHz, and 20 kHz.

Of these, the Gold Kruzer is most compelling to me.  Nice high frequency selection.  Would have been nice to be able to also select ~30 khz  or 1/2 max frequency too, (a la Deus) to give it a larger optimal target range capability (and 15 khz, even better, to give it some high conductor chops).  If the multi-frequency Kruzer had been released as the Impact a year ago (even at the Impact price point) you would have had a buyer.  Now, unfortunately, competition from another manufacturer fielding innovative detecting technology may keep this from becoming the breakthrough detector series it could have been in 2017.  I really like the intuitive display screen layout and control push buttons (but am still a big fan of that First Texas multifunction, clickable control knob that appears on the F70/F75 and T2/G2).  Really nice line-up Nokta.

Looking for additional information on this series, can Dilek or some of the knowledgeable testers give us a rundown of the following:

  • The more subtle differences between the Impact and the Multi Kruzer beside the stem design, user interface, waterproof enclosure, and the operating frequency differences.
  • What are the various detect modes for the Multi Kruzer and Gold Kruzer and how do they differ.
    • Especially Interested in
      • Why maximum recovery speed is tied to 3 tone operation
      • Whether there is a 99 tone mode like the Impact?
  • Definitions on some of the Nokta unique settings and features:
    • EUD,
    • iSat
    • How variable depth Target ID works.

Thanks!

I’ve been watching one video after another on the MMK and hearing lots of chatter emitting from it. Well tonight I found a video that a guy covered this problem that shows up when in 4 tones . He showed if you switch to 3 tones the problem goes away but said you lose depth.
I was thinking about giving the MMK a try but just that alone I say no.
I would like to hear from people on here that’s been around the block more than one time with it.

Hey all, I’ve recently picked up and old blue Excalibur 1000 from eBay that I plan to dive with. My only problem is the headphones aren’t the “blowing my ears off” kind of loud. It’s got the original blue headphones on it and I was wondering since I know the Excalibur 2 is incredibly loud it it  just how the blue headphones are or if it’s not working 100%, They are easily audible out of water though.
      Thank you!

      Folks.
I have plenty of hours on MMK now, but have a beach vacation coming up shortly.  For those of you who have put time in on the salt water wet sand and shallow water, can you give settings with experiences?  freq, mode(if not beach) etc.

I’m sure it was location as much as machine, never less the MMK helped shorten the old bucketlist in the last month.  The walker wasn’t very deep but the V nickel was a good 8-9” and still a clean ID of 29-30.  Land or water I am really loving this machine!
