All good roads have to start somewhere.

Congrats on your gold.

Wonder if later, you do find a true monster.

Then what?

Who gets the last laugh.

I am always careful and sure don't ever want to make fun of some else's skill or finds.

It can come back and bite you.

This story below not tied directly to what I said above.  But did happen.

There are gold nuggets that could sound like coffee cans when swept with Garrett ATX detector or Minelab PI detectors.

How do I know this?

I read a story once where a gent passed on a very strong signal, and a lesser experienced came right behind and detected and dug the spectacular nugget.

Wonder who this person is that passed on the overly strong signal?

You all can guess.

Hint

He has imo one of the best overall metal detecting forums in existence today.

Here is where I read story -Dankowski forum.

It's well worth celebrating Walker!

Even a newbie with a Go-Find can hear a big nugget just under the surface. But it takes skill and time at the wheel to hear the subtlety of the tiniest pieces of yellow with a 14 inch coil.

The Z's are amazing but kudos to you also

Walker ,sometimes it is more of a struggle to finding those little bits but you can feel good when you do find it,i found my smallest piece this year with the 7000 ,it was .03 of a gram.
