Here is what it look like before painting it.

Here is what it looks like on the underside 

you have to drill the hole big enough so it will go over that little whatever you want to call it

Here’s what I’m talking about

You cut the 1/2 inch hot water PVC in half then you heat it up so you can flatten it out and after you done that you drill the hole

The legs I cut two inches long with T and 45’s with no space in between

When painted and put on you need two black ties to anchor it to the Equinox stand

So the stand will stay in place

 You can see the pipe is cut in half.

push it flat to the top of stand so T and the flatten part is even.

Maybe this shot show you what I’m talking about. You can see under the white pipe is flush from one end to the other.

The screw on the handle makes for lots of options with or without the original stand on.  Personally I would like some way to have a 'hinge' and be able to pull the long  'leg' out and prop it up so I don't have to bend over.  I use a long handle heavy scoop on the beach.  Adding a little weight to the Nox so it is easier to get at would be ok with me.

For what it’s worth that is my wife’s Equinox car that I have my Equinox detector on.

The only thing it can find is a gas station but it is good on gas.

 You can tell I’ve got a lot going for me sitting out here watching paint dry.
