ATX Coil Cover

 If anyone has a Garrett ATX and needs a coil cover to protect the coil until one is available, you can use the covers for the Infinium coils, they do leave a small overhang in the front and rear, but its not bad and they do snap on for a snug fit.

Thanks ken for the great tip, I may order one this week thinking of ordering another Infinium coil might as well order the coil cover as well can use cover for both coils.

  What coil are you looking for, Steve has a couple for sale here on the forum. The standard 12X14 coil cover fits both the mono and DD infinium coils.

Hi Ken, the infinuim coil covers will fit the Garrett ATX DD coil? What size infinuim coil cover are you using to fit the ATX DD coil ?

Like Ken said this hangs out on each end. There is supposed to be a fitted coil cover for the ATX stock coil out now but they seem to be a secret, not on the Garrett website.

Can you post a picture of the cover? I have not seen one posted anywhere yet and no mention on Garrett website. Was this a US purchase? I got the impression maybe Australian dealers were including the scuff cover because so far that is only mention I have heard of it so far. I am wondering if it is now officially included with the ATX or if it is a dealer add on.

Thanks and very informative - sounds like they are shipping included from the factory now. Be a great scuff cover for prospecting, should be less tendency to hang up on obstructions.
