Literally ... just got back home, from one of the best detecting days ever.

EDIT: And of course, it was found with the AWESOME EQUINOX!!!!! ?

That's lovely for a first Hammered, It could be a hammered silver Penny of Henry VI 1440's. I mean it could be a half penny rather than a penny (looks clipped) but it's hard to say from here. There are some really talented identifiers of these things ( I'm not one lol) but I think the coin is stylistic of the 1400's. I have the spink coins of England to guide me lol

Ive looked through the spinks coin bible, but its so damn hard to identify.  There are sooooo many varieties, but safe to say its either 1400 or 1500 or very latest 1600 (I could always be wrong tho).   Would be awesome if someone with expertise could ID the coin wink wink.
