Darn It! Pro-find 35 Lost Its Voice

Yes had the same problem after 2 weeks from new - had to be replaced - now the new one has failed with + & - keys not working and pointer not detecting metal - this after 1 month - just sent back for further replacement!

The PF35 is my first and only pinpointer and the only odd thing I've noticed is when I have it set to highest sensitivity it will sound off when pointed straight up in the air, is that normal?

You might get more replies if you posted this in the Minelab general forum or detector comparison and discussion forum as this forum is geared towards just Equinox users which would only be a subset of those who use the pro find pinpointer.

Mine at times beeps for no reason. It also interferes with my XP ORX and Teknetics T2

It's a nice pinpointer but at the point I can't use it due to the chattering it causes on detectors and also the chattering rants it goes off on by itself

I think a production batch of defective pro finds exhibited the behaviors you are describing.  Sounds like you have a valid case for warranty replacement so you should take advantage of that option.
