Naming Contest For New Multifrequency Detector

Recommended Posts

Haven't heard anything new about this for months (not the naming contest, but the detector).  Does anyone have a progress update from Nokta/Makro and/or Dilek?   Maybe a simultaneous multifrequency machine wasn't tenable for them.

Okay you were granted three wishes and you shot one. Think long and hard about what you want in the next two.

It would be good to hear a little teasing word out the back door of Nokta/Makro dealing with the Lightning detector.

Lightning was my first wish and it too may have been wasted.

They'll have no problem competing or staying in the market place. State sponsored/funded companies compete at a different level.   R&D development dollars don't have to come from sales.

Could be just delays with the patent office. The pandemic has a lot of places crippled or working on skeleton crews.

Being a Aussie company. I'm surprised Minelab hasn't used the name Ostrich yet. I can picture the logo with the bird with it's head underground looking around for treasure. Maybe some other company can adopt it.

They're known as the worlds most dangerous bird.

I think I need a couple of them for my wife, so I can go detecting.
