This is NOT my video.

I just found it and it's about the Nox, POST update.

He's now complaining because on silver, the numbers are jumping from 30-33...LOL.

Seriously...you gotta watch it...I'm in stitches laughing.

Please give a thumbs up to my reply on the video (Matthew Moss)

Thats why i respect you Steve.  You made me question my own response to the guy.  But sheesh the video maker of said video .......  is pretty good at name calling too.  But 2 wrongs dont make a right.  Humble pie digested, thanks buddy.

An idiot, I wouldn't say that... As said already, he's just a guy who has an opinion on how his detector is working at that moment. I will say I wouldn't detect the same he he is going about, but that's his deal.

The one thing we don't know is if he's running in stock Park2, or if he's customized a few things. It can make a difference, but everyone is entitled to an opinion.

A funny note, about 75% of the time, I pinpoint with the top-middle of the coil instead of using the pinpoint function on the Equinox. When you get decent with it, you can tell where your target is almost 100% of the time.

I had the Equinox 800 and I sold it not for one reason he shows. I sold it because Minelab didn’t have a small coil and it was going to be a while before they would. Oh I’m still kicking my butt for doing that .

Really this guy may not know it but he’s just learning what his detector can and can’t do . Just maybe if you overlap on your coil swing you won’t miss that coin on edge.

I wish he had a feather up his butt and I had his Nox because we both be tickle to death.

I'm calling with Steve .. The guy -Levis-Wayne has only a few insights on this thing, if I know it and use it to search for 12 different detectors .. if it's about half the YT video - DDcoil is more sensitive and has many the reach at the ends of the coil-at such a position of the coin - that is why it is important to sweep the coil - by a half overlap. coil ...

Some of the responses to this video is why I will never don a Go-Pro (even if it would be cool to say "Go Pro Stop Recording").  What I took from this video (which I had a choice to watch or not to watch) was a guy who was feeling very positive about being heard on some issues, and hopes that other issues will be heard and addressed to.  That is engagement.  I can't fault that.  Some cringe worthy comments, but no worse that many other vids I have watched.  I think we all have dreamed about a feature on our machines that would give us the advantage in the field.  He just happened to put it on a video.  He is more brave than I, I edit myself from posting on this site to a certain extent for fear of backlash and being perceived as an idiot (and compared to other forums, this one is light years more supportive), even though I know that is opposite the purpose of this forum Steve created for us all to enjoy and learn from.  The spirit of detecting is alive in this vid.  I support that. :) ~Tim.

reminds me of putting a 30 foot flag pole up when i was about 20 and trying to plumb it. We (2 heads are thicker then one) figured out the taper and made a shim for my 4 foot level. As i was putting my invention to use a old guy said he just used a nut on a string, held it up and just lined it up with the pole!  He was nice about it, gratefully.
