Steve... I was just in Colchester with Mindy in Oct. 2021   i found 2 hammered silver Groats in that field over looking the River Stour. Just a bit left of this picture near the left hand dirt road about a third of the way down. One of the guys I was hunting with that day also found 2 Groats in that same general area. One has to wonder how can 4 coins from 1422 end up so close together after all this time. That, to me, is one of the best parts of detecting.... wondering how things got to be where they were and why.
