GP3000 vs TDI Pro On The Beach

I am in the market for a pi detector for beach hunting. I cant afford new so used will have to do me.  The TDI Pro is at the top of my list but I do have a chance of picking up a good GP3000 with DD coil at the right price. I know that the Minelabs are not to fond of salts so I am wondering would the GP compare in performance, depth wise to a TDI?

I don't think the 3000 will match the TDI Pro, But put either in experienced hands and such a person will drag the last mm of depth out of them, and for the Cost of a second hand 3000 you could get A New TDI under Guarentee

I vote TDI. The ability to chest mount can be a huge plus around water. Also, on many beaches it can be run with the ground balance shut off, giving a real boost to achievable depth.

Cheers lads, I was thinking the TDI was the way to go. Next thing is trying to find someone who is prepared to sell one and ship it internationally. So if anyone wans to sell one please let me know.

Whites UK,  Because I have been asking them to get one in for me for A few years, So I have spoken to A Very Nice Person At Whites U.S.A. and they got the wheels in motion for me,,, Great People for Sure

So in A week or two I will be Ordering the Pro, But I need to build up the funds again because I have just bought another Whites Machine Last Week and I have A few more on the List.
