Still no luck. Large nails which look to possibly hold timber rail. I know one mine in this group still has the track intact. Bullet head and shells, plenty of old iron. I scoured the steep hillside which tested my knee and foot. My foot is full of titanium and registeres a signal all too often. Being removed soon.

Now this is something that really peeves me. People littering. The amount of rubbish around is disgusting.

Judging by the first pics I think I know where you are.

If it is where I think then there is definitely lots of gold in quartz.  Gold Bug might be a bit low in KhZ to find it though?

The rubbish is just crap isn't it?

The rubbish in the area is appalling mate.

I dont think i have seen an area with so much quartz.

The first pic with the wheelbarrow looked as if there hasnt been any movement in there for quite some time.

Very interesting area.

GB2 be the go ?

JW ?

Wouldnt the GB2 struggle with the mineralisation?

If that is the spot I think it is then I have found gold there with the GPZ, the SDC and the Gold Monster.

With practice it sounds like the GB2 will be able to find gold too.  Steve H had said that he was able to find gold in hot ground in Aus with the GB2 - it is all down to practice.  However, I have never used one  ?

Will PM you.

So, offline we have established that it is the same spot.

People who have used a GB Pro - would these type of bits of gold get picked up by it?  Rough, quartz speccies mainly.

Beautiful country it's a shame some folks just don't give a d- - m  how they leave an area but it is the same the world over i clean trash every 8 to 10 days from the spring to late fall on the trail into our high country reservoir only when the snow starts does it stop.
