  4. Everything is better with butter right? ;) Would have made more impact with a slab of Bacon in the picture for me though! Hahh!

  5. Ha Ha yeah I put 500 grams of bananas on my Z coil to see how much heavier it would be.

  6. They're saying 30% deeper than the 14". Is that 30% plus the 40% , which is 70% or 30% of the 40% which is about 12%? And they will discount it 35% for the 43% of the GPZ purchasers who paid 100%. I'm so confused.

  7. Chuck, I began a similar low weight high repition workout as a teenager...I think it's helped my detecting too.

  8. I compare High Yield to General a lot on undug targets. Often the case is if I've found something in HY, General will usually also see it, but the response may be weaker. But when using General, if I've detected something bigger or more solid, when switching to HY I often get a very wobbly or fluffy response, so General definitely better. So if you want to get all the smaller stuff, stick to HY, but if you don't care about missing the odd tiddler, but like the idea of hitting a better deeper bit, then stick to General. What is interesting in the graph is that with the 19 in HY and Difficult, seems to be matching the 14 in HY and Normal. I found a lot of my early Zed gold in HY/Norm but was restricted to milder ground. If I can get that level of performance in hotter ground.......fun times

  9. Beauts! This is one oddball I found up there, like a dragon boat or something.

  10. Metal detectors react to conductive targets or magnetic targets. Iron and steel having both conductive and magnetic properties present a metal detector with a double wallop.

  11. Hi Goldenoldie, The crowbar was for digging in hard clay with quartz debris in it and other hard soil locations. . I have been digging targets 2 feet deep and deeper with the Zed regularly and a crowbar is a must in some ground types. All the very deep crowbar dig targets I have dug with the Zed were scrap iron from the 1850's diggers unfortunately. The deepest piece of gold I have found Zed was around 20-24 inches deep....a 3 ouncer.
