The Fisher F75 Ltd metal detector is a model in the F75 series introduced in 2007 and is still in production. It is a 13 kHz VLF metal detector aimed primarily at coin, relic, jewelry, and gold nugget detecting. Note that the F75 Ltd was also called the F75 Special Edition, leading to some confusion regarding the various F75 models. The latest version of the F75 Ltd is the F75+.

The original F75 Ltd model was upgraded in 2014 to include Digital Shielding Technology (DST) but the model name as sold remained the same. Earlier models are just called the F75 Ltd and the newer version is referred to as the F75 Ltd DST by users. These models should not be confused with the basic F75 model which also come with and without DST.

The Fisher CZ-21 metal detector was introduced in 2009 and is still in production. The CZ-21 replaces the earlier CZ-20 model and is essentially the same unit with slight modifications. The Fisher CZ-21 is a fully submersible multifrequency VLF metal detector aimed primarily at underwater use. The 250 foot maximum depth makes the CZ-21 suitable for use while SCUBA diving. Note that as a diving detector both the headphones and coil are hardwired into the control box and cannot be changed. There is a choice of 8" or 10.5" concentric coils at the time of purchase.

"The CZ-21 and 1280X are housed in the most rugged enclosures and each have the same collapsible pole assemblies. A short pole assembly is desired when diving, but full extension is preferred when standing or wading. Both are submersible to 250 feet. The control housing can be easily removed for hip-mounting or it can be chest-mounted with an optional chest harness. The CZ-21 has a reputation for being the best saltwater metal detector ever made, while the 1280X is known for being the best fresh water detector, but both can be used in either environment. Built-in amplifier so you can hear soft target signals from deeper nuggets, more easily. The Li-lon battery pack includes a built-in audio amplifier, allowing you to use an external speaker without the need for any external booster.

The controls, menu options and features are tailored to relic-hunting, including a sophisticated ground balancing system, separate control over signal gain and threshold and a unique discrimination control system. While the G2+ makes for a highly competent coinshooting detector, its user interface and features are not specifically designed for this purpose. As a coin-shooter, you will notice that the G2+ exhibits slightly lower sensitivity to high-conductivity coins, like a U.S. quarter; this is a result of its specialized design to emphasize sensitivity to smaller, lower conductivity metals like relics and gold nuggets. The XP Orx metal detector was introduced in 2018 and is still in production. It is a selectable frequency induction balance metal detector aimed primarily at gold prospecting with accessory uses of coin, jewelry, and relic detecting. The operating frequency range is determined by the coil in use, with each primary frequency having numerous offsets. The 9’’ HF coil allows three primary frequencies of 15, 30, and 50 kHz. The elliptical HF coil has a higher top frequency option of 15, 30, and 80 kHz. The X35 coils offer lower frequency options of 4, 8, 12, 17, and 25 kHz. This detector is so new the U.S. price is estimated.
