"Introducing the best new gold metal detector for 2016 – The AU Gold Finder Metal Detector. The AU Gold Finder Metal Detector is Nokta Makro's premiere gold detecting machine operating in 56kHz. The AU Gold Finder is guaranteed to find more gold! Nokta Makro is renowned for their deep seeking gold machines, and created the AU Gold Finder in response of serious gold hunters looking for small to large gold nuggets in all types of terrain. The AU Gold Finder utilizes automatic, tracking and manual ground balancing for maximum cancelation of highly mineralization soil. From the USA / Africa /South America / to Australia, many professional gold detectorists are reporting amazing performance with the AU Gold Finder. This ultimate gold package includes two waterproof DD search coils (10x5.5” and 5”), headphones, coil covers and a hip mount belt for alternative use. Simple to use switches and knobs leave users less guessing and more time digging. Three search modes will give you the ability to adjust discrimination as needed and tune out trashy areas." Source: Nokta/Makro website

The Minelab GP 3000 detector was released in April 2003 and it was discontinued in 2005, replaced by the Minelab GP 3500. The GP 3000 is a pulse induction (PI) metal detector aimed primarily at the gold prospecting market. The Minelab GP 3000 had initially had a manufacturer suggested retail price of $3495 which was later raised to $3650. The machine would commonly be discounted to about $3000 new.

"The GP 3000 incorporates new technological advances and control functions which have resulted in a detector that combines stable and effective ground balancing with depth and sensitivity. Like its predecessor, the GP extreme, the GP 3000 can handle heavily mineralised and salty ground conditions with greater ease than previous detectors, which effectively opens up NEW detecting areas. The new Low-Noise circuitry found in the GP 3000 results in a smoother threshold, enhancing your ability to hear faint signals caused by small and deep targets. This allows you to revisit old “worked-out” areas, and find the gold others have missed." Source: GP 3000 Owner's Manual

The XP Orx metal detector was introduced in 2018 and is still in production. It is a selectable frequency induction balance metal detector aimed primarily at gold prospecting with accessory uses of coin, jewelry, and relic detecting. The operating frequency range is determined by the coil in use, with each primary frequency having numerous offsets. The 9’’ HF coil allows three primary frequencies of 15, 30, and 50 kHz. The elliptical HF coil has a higher top frequency option of 15, 30, and 80 kHz. The X35 coils offer lower frequency options of 4, 8, 12, 17, and 25 kHz. This detector is so new the U.S. price is estimated.

"The Eurotek and Eurotek Pro were designed for congested and iron laden European hunting conditions. An exceptionally fast retune speed offers impressive target separation in iron-infested sites and the expanded 39-point Iron ID range makes it easy to identify desirable iron targets. These are turn-on-and-go detectors for quick and easy operation. They have waterproof searchcoils, fully adjustable stems with locking collars and are powered by a single drop-in 9V alkaline battery. With a large, easy-to-read display and touch-pad operation, the Eurotek and Eurotek Pro offer unique features

"The new G2+ is unique among relic hunting detectors for its versatile function as an all-purpose treasure detector and also its high sensitivity to small gold nuggets. The controls, menu options and features are tailored to relic-hunting, including a sophisticated ground balancing system, separate control over signal gain and threshold and a unique discrimination control system. These features also make for a great gold prospecting detector, especially when the G2+ is outfitted with the optional 5” DD searchcoil. While the G2+ makes for a highly competent coinshooting detector, its user interface and features are not specifically designed for this purpose. As a coin-shooter, you will notice that the G2+ exhibits slightly lower sensitivity to high-conductivity coins, like a U.S. quarter; this is a result of its specialized design to emphasize sensitivity to smaller, lower conductivity metals like relics and gold nuggets. The G2+ is outfitted with a 11”DD open elliptical searchcoil as standard equipment since this searchcoil construction is best-suited to relic-hunting. At the trashiest sites, you may find the smaller optional 5”DD searchcoil makes pinpointing easier, is better suited to penetrate highly mineralized soils and improves target separation." Source: G2+ Owner's Manual

The Nokta/Makro Impact was introduced in 2017 and is still in production. The Impact is a VLF metal detector aimed primarily at coin, jewelry, relic detecting plus gold prospecting. The Nokta/Makro Impact is a "selectable frequency" detector that lets you select one frequency to use from several options. The Impact can run at any one of three frequencies - 5, 14, and 20 kHz.

"Uncover deep hidden treasures with the new IMPACT Multi Frequency Metal Detector by Nokta! The IMPACT combines multiple detectors in one and utilizes cutting edge technology, enabling a unique yet easy-to-use detector experience for new to experienced detectorists. The IMPACT boasts (12) search modes designed to hunt out different targets such as coins, relics and deep treasure caches. It also operates extremely well in different terrains including (but not limited to) wet beach sand and parks, allowing you to search without any further adjustment if you wish. Featuring (3) powerful operating frequencies, online firmware update (via PC USB) capability and robust design. If you are looking for depth and advanced discrimination ability, the IMPACT - just like its name – will make a great impact on your future detecting finds." Source: Nokta/Makro website
