The Delta has many very good features. Unfortunately it could not cope with either the bad EMI or high mineralization in my area. I'm sure that in milder soil mineralization it would be great.

I have one Myself, The lack of being able to Ground balance really hinders this detectors ability to function well in My Highly mineralized area(Arizona has some HOT Soil). Regardless, I have still found it to be quite the useful tool in some areas. . A major plus, in my opinion, is that there are plenty of coils to choose from. Another, More Personal plus is It’s ability to Share Coils with My Gold-Bug*. I gotta say that when The conditions are cooperating, and with the proper coil, I have managed to reach some surprisingly deep stuff.
When over milder ground and topped off (bottomed off?🤔) with the 11”dd coil, I have found the Delta 4000 to really shine….(IMO)

It was a Fathers Day Gift from the Girls on the Year My Daughter started to Walk(So I am a bit Biased😉, to mine anyway).

* The LCD version of The Gold-Bug…
