Nice I have the M12-Drill-impact-rachet combo with a few batteries-Milwaukee builds some great stuff and kinda pricey but I also have a shit load of ryobi 18 volt tools with alot of batteries and ryobi makes a couple of different wattage invertors as well-so if I was to go that way I would get the ryobi instead
-
I have a tacoma and it was the same way No Power to 12 volt plugs when turned off-its because of a relay that is only on when the ignition is on-so your battery wont be drained-so what I did was close the relay with a piece of tape and now my 12 volt plugs are always on

Raining Hard At Sawtooth & Rye Patch
Mike C... replied to Condor's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
How are the Chiggers around there after a good rain-there are a few areas around AZ that have high grass and lots of chiggers and they suck -
In the vids Ive seen so far the 6000 sounds just like a warblelly 2300-thats one thing that drove me nuts when I had my 2300-very unstable-Buttt with that said I think the 6000 will be a big hit because of its simplicity just like the GM 1000-makes newbies chances of hitting gold a whole lot easier-

Well heck I think you should make a video and show all the experts how to manage the settings since everyone is doing it wrong- I'm no expert either I've had good results and mine is always in Fine Gold but my gain is alot higher than 8 along with some other tweeks I like going behind other people just to see whats left and guess what no one gets it all with old or new deeper beepers including myself-lots of other things play a role as well as the operator New tech-its only as good as the operator heck I was still using a bungy free modded Sd2000 when most everyone else was using the Gp series and I was still finding gold behind them -
Minelab Detector Performance Chart - Quick Question
Mike C... replied to Erik Oostra's topic in Detector Prospector Forum
I wouldnt put to much attenion on the chart info-I had a sdc 2300 and put it over some of my old beat up patches that I hunted to death with my 5000 and a few other beepers over the years hoping to find a bunch of nuggets missed guess what none at some and only a bit here and there-I have a 3-4 grain nugget on a poker chip I use for testing-the sdc hit at about 2-3 inches while my 5000 hit it at about 5-6 inches-I no longer have the sdc-IMO alot of sales hype-I hope the 6000 lives up to its chart hype-Time will tell -
Nice gold How deep was the dime
