Monster Getting Banged By At Least One Aussie, Already
Mike C... replied to Condor's topic in Minelab Metal Detectors
Hi Matt I have a 2300 as well that I got not just for me but for my wife as well and its the same problem its a bit heavy for her which is understandable-to me its not that its heavy but very unbalanced so it does wear on you after a while unlike my 5000 which is way better balanced so when ML introduced this turn on and go beeper thats way lighter and beginner friendly I thought it would be a better fit for her plus Im very curious about it As far as testers go I really didnt see anything negative about the GM but for a free beeper who knows for sure unless you do it yourself Mike C... -

Questions Steve being that the GM rods screw together was there any issues with them coming loose like if you bumped a rock or something ?-Also how did it do as far as tipping over when sitting it down? it looks like it might be top heavy-Thanks in advance-Mike C... -

Detector Floodgates Open In May

I have both and the run time on the garret is way longer than the deteknics-6hrs vs 30 hrs before needing a charge-How long do the new minelab wireless systems run for ? I also heard a rumor that minelab was working on some new coils for the 2300-that would be nice Mike C... -

Thanks Steve I guess I was correct factory presets-For me the ability to tweak the audio-Tone-Threshold- are some of the most important adjustments-not a deal breaker yet as its for my wife but how much more trouble would it have been to add these 2 common adjustments Mike C...

I hope it has an adjustable tone and threshold-No mention of them Mike C...

I have the deteknix setup and the audio and responce time is good-I have the zlynk ordered and on its way-reason for buying- its less than half the price of the minelab and run time far exceeds the deteknix-hopefully theres no cross talk issues-Mike C...
