Well that's the end of the story , I've made a dry concentrator that uses gravity better in a newer way to separate any gold from dry dirt material , the internals make the gravel / dirt ~ liquid for a short time drop & secure any gold for later collection , They are not for sale yet Cheers jack -

Yep that one with the logo was the last model with the updated internals etc' ' yes it's eight sided with inward sloped walls because that shape out performs the round one's . Color has little bearing except if you prefer camouflage π -

Thanks for the photo , converted cement mixers have been used for decades , I made a similar design around 2011 , it worked but required a sweep back design near the lip to help stop gold being thrown out in the discharge . The weakness was the material slides when turning ' I hid wake up & started using slump angles to improve my future designs βΊοΈ Mine below : -

It turns the dry dirt into a liquid momentarily thus letting gold sink deep to the rear , the lights ( around 95% ) fall out through a door . Then another 25lb bucket is processed every 2 & a half minutes , even after many buckets are put through it will still only have a third of a pan left of concentrates . It's not like a dry-washer '' you sample first then run only best cherrypicked rich dirt through π Easy to use with little dust ' no noise or breakdowns . These guys would have loved one -

Around that same time a friend took a Jackwinder out to a very remote area where he knew there was lots of porous gold that detectors had trouble seeing . He got 2 ounces from this hole with the winder π Jack -

It's now 2017 , design has changed again for the better as this one is both fast & more efficient . Like all of them this is the tool to run the best pre sampled material through after it's been sieved . First pics are my half inch bucket sieve ' I do go down to quarter inch when required . Then the Jack Winder π more gold started to turn up ! -

For sure Chuck , that little lazy dog has since passed his name was Teddy ' he was 17 & a half & truly loved . I would give all the gold I've even found to have him back again . jack -

Time rolls on now 2016 , a new model is out ' this one had self adjusting internals that changed angles to help discharge the lights when turning anti clock wise & did the opposite clockwise when concentrating down the gold . βΊοΈ -

Yes Chuck ' keep at it till you get it working the best possible . Some more of my earlier designs : They all worked but not good enough for me π§ More to come -
Back in 2014 I posted a new type of gold concentrator for dry material , well I've been working on better models ever since . The story goes like this π First ' I had a rough idea about making a dry unit that would be better & different . I wanted it to be hand operated & still be able to concentrate material quickly without loss of gold . So the mission starts back in 2013 , I work at it with an obsession design after design . 2014 ' I have a good working design ' I ask Dave to test on the field , he runs a tiny about of dirt & it works and finds gold that detectors can't see . That design was complicated ' made from aluminium , expensive to make . 2015 - I start working on a a new concept & test more variations of this , 2016 - I now have what I think is it , my old mate Barry & I test them out on the field with top results , but not good enough for me . 2017 - I change the shape of the design & internals ' I'm trying to get the thing to be faster & more efficient . 2018 - I keep testing whilst making more changes to try & figure out why it's not a performing perfectly . 2019 - I found the answer at last in Feb that year ! Well not quiet ' took another year & I still cant stop trying to make it perfect π First photo back in 2014 field testing & some other models from around the same time 3rd photo field testing 2016 new design More to come Jack

Thanks for posting the link Chis , I can try to explain the advantages , first off ' efficiency & ease of use ! it's a light weight 10 second set up unit , designed for easy processing of material once you have found the best spot after doing the usual sampling ' being hand cranked allows the human to choose just the right amount of turns for the gold size being sort as the internal raking system will help drop the bigger gold faster then the tiny stuff . I've tested it for fine gold & it does not lose any when turned a few extra turns per cycle , if there's any gold in the material you shovel in ' you can do a 2 minute run to find out . Sure you will be able to run a lot more dirt through your Powered dry blower but it will lose some gold that the churn won't . The churns main purpose is the concentrate down the best material when found for the final clean up , it's a prospecting tool not a mining machine . Hope this helps explains this simple unit . Regards Jack .
