If historically there is gold in the area found in that type of ore than maybe.

I know how Erin thinks...🤔. Remember my friend, we've had a few meals together. So I won't ask outright, but did you make any cool finds. 😎
Nothing but an earring in about 5 total hours detecting, hmmm wonder why? 🤔….😂

My 35 works too and I use it as a digging tool. 😂 But honestly it only comes out on large oversized targets or deep hole targets. The rest normally just get scrapped out and widdled down.

Well in the end…….I decided to not get one 😂😂

Holy Cow Frank! I didn’t realize you were dirtman. I’ll never forget that adventure with you! It was my second gold finds in AZ actually, I had found 1 piece first in Prescott. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Got a new car! Now need a new license plate. Obviously this is not going on my detecting vehicle but I think would be fun on my in-town car. Here are a few I came up with. Remember only 7 letters/numbers
BIGNUGZMETAL D
DIRTDGR
ZIP ZIP
AU GETR

Air tests give a good constant test with no variables to show raw power. Ground produces variables in testing and we all have different ground. Its good to have air tests to have a starting point in your own variable situations.

This is similar success i have seen running the 6k over Zed covered ground.

We all know that Steve has run both detectors extensively. I would go with the advice that he gave. I have not read Lunk‘s article yet, sorry amigo 😉 , but whatever he has to say, I would go with that as well.

Thanks Dave, I am now on Ron's wait list. You got his last one, good luck using it. Let me know how it compares to the stock 11 inch for depth on 0.5 gram or larger.
Depth is the same or perhaps slightly less but unnoticeable.

Could be cassiterite 🤷♂️

I don’t find the replies to be harsh. They are our opinions and he asked for them.

Don’t ever buy detectors at big box stores. Plenty of dealers on here that would have helped you get into the right machine for what u want to detect.
Good news is you could probably return it to Cabelas and get your money back.
Then call Gerry’s Detectors in Idaho 😁

Good luck Swegin. Buying on the internet is no longer tax free, or at least becoming very very rare.
Hell, you have to pay tax for used goods (that were already taxed once before) on eBay!Thats why buying from small dealers is still really good! In my state you have to do over $100000 in sales in that state to charge “interstate” sales tax.

It’s already being used for that. I use it for emails or answering information requests. Should the AI be credited or me who actually pushed the buttons to make it work?
I never credit Google for anything. I look at it in the same concept when it comes to that. AI works for me and therefore in the end, right or wrong, the credit falls to the user. As of now AI needs human user input in order to start its job that I tell it to do. If someone challenges me, I can’t say that it wasn’t my fault, AI did it 🤣

I have no problem with people thinking AI won’t work right. 🤔
Heard these same iterations before with other tech we all use readily now.
Keep it coming jasong, very interesting!

I love using AI! Before reading your post, I was mainly using it more like a search engine. Gives the results I want, unlike google where I have to wade through ads or irrelevant web pages. I’m gonna try having it read pdf or websites like you mentioned, I think the “hardest” part for me is what to specifically ask.
Its really great for responding to emails or texts 🤣🤣🤣
Learned how to to that by watching one of the latest South Park episodes 🤣🤣🤣

Anyone have any luck with 17” punching deeper on targets?

My Ipad works fine

It’s interesting if that is how they “rank” their detectors. Which kind of seems accurate to the passerby.

Cmon now people, don’t be telling people to ignore trash. I need somebody to dig up the junk so I can go back through and get the faint sounding deep biggins! 🤣

Minelabs X-Terra Pro.... Anyone Enjoying Theirs?

I am really enjoying the positive reviews with the XTP on the beach. I am thinking of adding this as a strictly beach detector for overseas travel destinations. Its cheap (incase stolen at customs), breaks down easy and can be put together easy with no tools and telescopes down as well. Those are kind of my main 2 reasons, besides detecting ability.
Question though, is it really bad at black sand beaches? I mean compared to the Nox, not just in general.
I would like to use this on Treasure Coast, FL beaches but they can have some serious black sand when eroded down to the pay layers (Spanish Fleet silver and relics). Thoughts or has anyone tried yet?
