Hopefully this geosense can smooth out some of the noisy ground in my area as I find it hard to work the sdc any higher than sensitivity 2.
I am cranking it right at 4. 5 for me and it becomes too wobbly.

Thats a good question Dan!

That was a nice video. It’s too bad you never finished your series these are the types of things that I would like to watch and learn more.

I do think for serious prospectors, the 6000 will seemingly give them a measure of portability for searching a wider range of new possibilities than lugging that brick of a 7000. People like Jason will be big beneficiaries of that jump in ergonomics with less weight while not losing much in detecting power.
This is what i do with the SDC. Fold it up and hike in, then bring the artillery back when needed.

I tried to get on the new MLRS today and it did not even load. What I do like about it though, supposedly you can click on the claim and actually have a PDF file of the location certificate, which should include a map, come up, especially since most claims are not 1/4 1/4 1/4 sections. Although my friend just tried to stake a claim and he cannot follow 20 acres along the creek anymore, he actually had to make it a square to fit in the PLSS system. Anyone else see this?

Actually is the Z the only time they reduced a price “that quickly” on a detector?
-
We know the price. Minelab puts it on all there machines 🤣. Except the Z, the should have called that the GPZ10000

It actually saves you a bunch of money to not have to buy a bunch of coils for a machine you already own 😂. When you don’t have any choice you don’t have to blow your cash 🤣. Then you can save all that coil money that you would’ve blown to buy a new X6. 😊

Yeah i love my sdc too! It would be hard to have to sell that for the X6

I don’t know much about the QED because it is strictly Australian but isn’t that what they kind of did jasong?

Cmon QZers! Maybe Miners Depot will put something out?
-
There has to be someone in QZ! Take pics and vids too! You’ll be the post of the week! 🤣

Too bad you could not do that in reverse. So that you could buy the new GPX out of country at a reduced rate based on the value of our US dollar. For example if it’s 6000 in Australia and 6000 here in the states you could get a much better deal in Australia. But that’s usually offset by freight.

Now if only the price point were similar compared to the Equinox and started at $3,000 US...It would sell like the Equinox.
I agree! No more $8000 dollar detectors, put in the masses instead of the few.
-
I am really interested in seeing how this compares with the GPZ and the SDC. I should probably be able to sell both and buy a new one LOL.

I don't think even the Dubai guys who are spilling their guts are selling any before the "go" sign from ML in February so you might be better off just waiting for the the local dealers.
Idk money can move mountains and probably a detector too 🤣

Wonder when the last time Xcoils contacted Minelab. Its seems these coils have upgraded over the last 2 years, might be worth another call.
-
So I think that this detector might be geared more to the Middle East area and one reason is the shaft length. If you look up the average height for people in that region it’s right around 5’ 6” to 5’ 8”. But if you take a look at people that live in areas that are further north, such as Europeans, they are around 5’ 10” to 5’ 11”. Just an observation.

When I see GeoSense I don't see location like a GPS, I see Geology. Like GeologySense. I don’t think anyone has said that yet. To me that makes a little more sense in regard to ground balance.

Not surprising. If you can only have an 11 inch and a 17 inch coil then that makes the SDC with the 8 inch still relevant for sale. And it gives the GPZ, which I know is different technology, a 13 inch and a 19 inch. Pretty sure ML is saying that if you want different coil sizes you have to buy different detectors 🤦♂️

Challenge Completed And Missed Nuggets Found

I would not mind using the SPO1 more. I bought one a along time ago. Back when they were $200 LOL. However I never use it I’m actually thinking about selling it, not because I don’t like it but I just don’t like having all the extra cords. I like the WM12 and it just hooks to my shirt. If I have to use the SPO1 then I need to have the WM12, that and another speaker. It’s just too much. Now if they made one that just would replace the WM12 all as one I would buy it. I did suggest that a while back, I was hoping maybe they were making one.
