  1. Nice!!!!!!!!long ago a french metal detecting magazine published an article about a guy in Canada who manage to locate the site of a serious skirmish .There was 2 cool pick of 2 musket balls 1 had the print of uniform material(probably broke the bone/s) and the other hit the flint of a opponent rifle (ouch my eye)......i had a pile of ww1 french propaganda newspaper(Le Mirroir if i am correct) and there also was a picture of 2 bullets who collided.

As i often say if the energy and money was spend more positively we will live in a better world

  2. The future is IN the water, beaches are getting over detected and we end up eating the crumbs.....................

i got Manti D2 and tarsacci and i m taking every session as a workout rather than a potential fortune changing opportunity hahhhahhah

@Rivers ratThe Garrett headphones are about 30 ohms impedance and have too much Bass for me on the Tarsacci.  My 150 ohm Killer Bs sound very crisp and make a world of difference. I use them with the Garrett Z Lynk receiver unit.  Same setup on my Vista X.

Gonna make some change then but as i m working around Europe at the moment my free time is limited........but i will ask the gentleman if i can publish his work ..................

Why ??????????????? because my first one went to a guy who run tons of tests and did a great write up for himself and share it with me...............on the mineralised sand nothing beat it but a PI.Depth on beaches are really good as i found out with the 1st one

Garett zlink sounds is crap i was using fake(i didnt know) Marshalls headphones  the sounds was crisp

This time, with the newly arrived hooka compressor, I went exploring for another bit of coastline.

At first glance, there was little to be done, given the imense amount of new sand underfoot and that horrible feeling of tender ground.

At that point I adopted for the only decent opening, just a few meters wide and...Again a surprise

I first came across a newspaper article when I was visiting London in 1988 about Eric Foster and his development of pulse induction. I gathered as much information as I could, and on my return to Australia flew to Adelaide and discussed the reported superiority of this form of detection with Bruce Candy. I still remember Bruce's reaction. He was doubtful that pulse induction would be of use in the pursuit of gold as he believed that the 'halo' from the induced magnetic field would die quicker with gold than other metals, making it difficult for the Rx to pick up the signal when the winding changed from transmit to receive. I pointed out that the PI machine that Eric Foster had developed was finding Celtic gold objects at greater depth than could be achieved with VLF detectors.

Having tested a prototype GT16000 for Bruce in 1987 (resulting in a couple of hundred ounces and lots of positive advertising for Minelab) I was confident that if anyone could produce a top performing PI it would be him. About twelve months later the phone rang with good news, and shortly after I had a Bruce Candy PI prototype in my hands. The rest is history.

    Fantastic!
