It seems now I would be getting the same car. How is it? Can you sleep in it? haha
On the insurance, my insurance company here will not cover anything outside of the United States. My credit card will cover the collision up to $50,000 which is a savings of $11 a day on insurance. Neither credit card or rental car talks about liability coverage.
Who offers that?
Mitchel
Mitchell i got an insurance i paid 60 british pounds to cover 1 year of vehicle rental .........60 days straight at the time ,worldwide except Jamaica and Island .......Saw a lot of outlander seems the vehicle of choice out here.I will try to find it today and send u the link.Lots of space in the boot i havent try to sleep inside and the windows aren't tinted enough......Will try to get it cleaned today has it is caked in track dust :)
Just found the insurance

I usually ride motorbikes so i dont have the same issues as car drivers.Madame wasnt keen on that so i rented a 4x4
Melbourne last week 20 bucks a day was the cheapest i found.Traffic is chaotic but drivers are nice than i London.GOR this week end, took a detector with me just in case but low tide is early hours of the morning (1.20am) so i gave it a miss?

I'll never forget the day when I was a kid in Australia and I put my shoes on to go to school that I had left outside for the night and I struggled to get my foot in, took my shoe off and shook it and a dirty great big cane toad with its guts hanging out fell out of my shoe, I crushed it trying to force my foot in, I thought maybe I'd left my socks screwed up in my shoes which I tended to do, never did that again ?

They're ugly suckers and it bounced off like nothing happened even though its guts was hanging out.

Ok, about a car. I see I could get an AWD Hyundai Tucson for $23 a day. Is that enough to follow a few prospectors if I avoid the deep holes? haha
One website says I'd have to pay a surcharge if I am over 65 and another ones says the surcharge is over 70. This is the first time I've see either one.
Hi i landed yesterday and thats the car i rented ,but they gave me a MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER not bad at all but......no nav

Thanks Jeff i may take both i am entitled to 24kg.........so i may tempt it.
At the end of the day i won't invest in a GPX/Z has i wont need it after...........and Fisher will come out with something soon .
Minelab seems to own the market in Australia and good for them .I would love to find something good with the Deus down under .

So my trip is coming up i asked left right and center as it is hard to get a straight answer......so i may take my Xterra and use it .I guess GPX and Z are far too long to learn in 2 weeks ......Deus even in 80khz may struggle with OZ soil........not many Deus in Australia yet.....Have you ever tried the prospecting mode because this what i may use

Coilteks New SDC Coil
in Minelab Metal Detectors
Posted
A sdc in a Gold monster configuration or something more ergonomic will be better if i was to buy one i will change a lot of things......waterproof need another design of coils right???i guess those frisbee are really renowned for their buoyancy .I dont now much about looking for gold in creeks and cracks but i guess the coil need to have holes.
Something like that will be cool thats just my 2 cents of course
